About this course
The CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health is designed for people who want to support wellbeing in their communities. The course focuses on recovery-oriented, strengths-based approaches that respect each person’s story, culture, and lived experience.
You will learn how to provide support in ways that promote choice, self-determination and connection, while working safely, ethically and collaboratively with others.
Who this course is for
This course is suitable if you are:
- Working or volunteering in community or mental health services
- Looking to enter the community services workforce
- Passionate about supporting people and community wellbeing
- Wanting a nationally recognised qualification
If you are not currently working in mental health, you will complete at least 80 hours of work placement (paid or volunteer).
We understand that learners have family, cultural, and community responsibilities. That’s why we offer flexible study options:
- Face-to-Face Learning
- Supportive classroom-based learning with experienced trainers
- Blended Learning
Trainer-led online sessions via Zoom, including live discussions and interactive learning
Fees & funding
- Full Fee (Non-Funded) – $6,000 total (Includes all learning materials) – Monthly payment plans available on request
Queensland Government Funding
Eligible students may access subsidised training.
- Student contribution fees: Concessional: $300. Non-concessional: $600
